Here is a look at May's Gorgeous Stamp Sets.

Today's Featured Stamp Set is

 "Oopsy Daisy".

I have two cards for you today. My first card is from Technique Junkies Fancy Folds and Motion Paper Craft CD called Flap Fold Card. This is a new card for me but was pretty easy to make. 

The second card I have for you today is also using a technique from Technique Junkies called Colored Microfine from their current newsletter. This is a pretty cool technique but it called for using foil stickers (of which I do not have) so I wondered if it would work using heat embossing and sure enough it did.

Friends of SpeedyTV Challenge 20 - Paper Piercing

Happy Monday,

I hope everyone had a great Mothers Day. Mine was pretty relaxing for the most part. My dear husband did the dishes, mopped the kitchen floor, made dinner and let me rest all day. My precious 3 girls made me tons of Mothers Day cards and all came in bed with me this morning and cuddled and wished me a Happy Mother's Day.  All in all a pretty good Mothers Day for me.

Welcome to another exciting week of challenges with the Friends of SpeedyTV. This week we want to challenge you to make a card using paper piercing. This is a fun and easy technique that everyone can use. We are giving away to one lucky winner this great stamp set from earlier this year:

"Flaps My Wattles"

Since this is the stamp set we are giving away this week I thought I would use it to make my card.  I stamped my image onto white card stock with Basic Black ink and then colored it with my Copic Markers. I then mounted my image onto yellow and olive card stock and them onto my DP. Before I mounted this to the base of my card which is Royal Blue I added my yellow ribbon. I also put a small sentiment on the inside of my card. I hope you enjoyed my card today. Thanks for stopping and commenting, I hope to see you again soon. Speedy Fox and Friends #107 - Use Chalk

Happy Saturday Speedy Fox and Friends,

First of all I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. I know it is a day early but I wanted to make sure that I wished happy day to those moms out there who work so hard and don't get enough credit. This week with Speedy Fox and Friends we are challenging you to make a card using chalk. Chalk is a fun tool to use, there are so many ways to use it your possibilities are endless.

Since I have been having such a creative block lately I went to my dear friend Chris Dickinson's house for a play date (one we have not had in a while). She is the sweetest, most caring, encouraging, inspirational, helpful, and loving person I have ever had the privilege to be friends with. She has helped me in so many ways over the last year and a half in more than just stamping. I love her dearly and just wanted to thank her for all she does for me.

For my card this week I am using Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co "North American Woods" stamp set. I stamped my image with VersaMark and then used my sponge dauber to color the image with chalk. I used So Saffron, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, White and DP for my paper. I finished off my card with bronze brads. I hope you liked my card. Friends of SpeedyTV #19 - Mother's Day Card

Good Morning and Happy Monday,

Welcome to the newest challenge with Friends of SpeedyTV. Sorry my post is late, I have had a weekend from you know where, and a morning with 5 crabby kids. With Mother's Day on Sunday we thought what better a theme than to make a card for those who have done so much for us, OUR MOTHERS!! Think back to all the things your mom has done for you and has been there for you through and make the best card you could ever make. I know I would be completely lost without my mom and I am sure the same is true for so many out there.My mom has always been there for me with a shoulder to cry on when something bad has happened to me.

For my card I made it using Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co "Mother's Magnolias". This is my favorite stamp set for so many reasons. Magnolias are my favorite flower and it is the perfect set for this card. That is why we are offering it to one lucky winner who plays along with us in this weeks challenge. It Thunder stormed all day and my oldest daughters soccer game was cancelled for the second time, The best thing about the rain is that it brings up such beautiful flowers. Speedy Fox and Friends #106 - Use 3 of Something

Good Morning Speedy Fox Friends,

Happy Saturday, welcome to a new week of challenges with Speedy Fox and Friends. This weeks challenge is to make a card using three of something. Lately I have been having a creative block so this was hard for me. I thought and thought and thought and this is what I came up with.

I used Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. "Daffodil Greetings" and "Brickwall Mini". I stamped my images on White Card Stock and then colored it with my Copic Markers. I chose to use Certainly Celery for the base of my card and then put some designer paper on the base. I punched out three circles and mounted my images into those circles. Then I took the circles that I punched out and added my sentiment to it and mounted them to my card with pop dots. I finished off my card with yellow ribbon and 3 green pearls on each side of my ribbon.

On the inside of my card I mounted white card stock and stamped my sentiment and my full image and colored it with my Copic Markers. I hope you enjoyed my card.
