Step One:
Cut both pieces of card stock 7 ¾ x 7 ¾.

Step Two:
Place your first piece of cardstock on your scoring tool and score each side at 1 1/8”.  This will make your bottom.

Step Three:
Score your second piece of card stock at 1”. This will make your top.

Step Four:

Step Five:
Fold all four score lines in on both pieces of card stock.

Step Six:
Attach all four tabs to make a tray. Do this to both pieces of card stock.

Step Seven:
Cut 4 pieces of designer paper 14/8 x 5 ½ and adhere them to the sides of your top. You may want to verify the measurements.

Step Eight:
Cut one piece of designer paper 5 ½ x 5 ½ to put on the top of your lid.

Step Nine:
Finish decorating to your liking.

Step Ten:

Friends of SpeedyTV #30 - Joy Fold Card

Happy Monday,

Welcome to another fun filled week of challenges with Friends of SpeedyTV. Great cards for last weeks sketch challenge. This weeks challenge is to make a Joy Fold Card. A tutorial on how to make a Joy Fold card can be found here. This is a fun and easy card to make so I hope you will participate. In keeping with the Christmas in July Theme I decided to make my card a Christmas Card.

For my card I used Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co, "New Pines" and "Christmas Music" stamp sets. I am using an Olive card stock and Designer Paper. I coloring my images with Copic Markers and I sponged my edges with Mellow Moss ink pad. I finished off the card with some red flowers.

This week you are playing for this great stamp set which I love. So one lucky winner can have it.

"Tweet Blessing"

I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping and commenting. I hope to see you again soon. Be sure to check out all the great projects and tutorials this week for the Christmas in July Blog Hop.

You have until 11:00 pm on Sunday July 22nd to submit your cards. Good Luck everyone.

Speedy Fox and Friends #117 - Christmas in July

Hello Fellow Stampers,

I know I am late with my card for the Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge, but I say better late than never. This weeks challenge is fitting since we are beginning our Christmas in July blog hop on the 23rd. So your challenge is to make a Christmas in July card. Not only did I make this card for the challenge this week, I made the card for the card swap on SpeedyTV

I used Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co "New Pines" Stamp set for this card. I also used some Christmas charms on this card as well. I finished off my card with some buttons that I took off a sweater that I now longer have. I am taking a lot of tips from the Thrifty Stamper.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I hope to see you again soon. Be sure to stop by for the Christmas in July Blog hop starting Monday.

We hope everyone enjoys this weeks challenge! We look forward to seeing your wonderful creations and commenting on your beautiful cards. You have until 3PM on Friday July 27, 2012 to post your card. Please remember to link your card back to us or mention Speedy Fox and Friends or Marks Finest Papers a Heinrich Company in your blog post. And if you use MFP a Heinrich Company stamps your name will be entered into the drawing twice. Have fun and good luck.

Thanks

Sorry I am only able to show you one card today. I have been sick all week with Kidney issues and had a hard time making this one. Then my little girl that has been struggling with health issues of her own woke up last night screaming with a spiked fever and saying she didn't feel good. Hoping it won't result in another trip to the ER or a hospital stay for her.

Here is my card. I love this stamp set and could not make up my mind what I was going to do with it. It is fun and versatile.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping and commenting. I hope to see you again. Be sure to come back tomorrow to see who won one of these great stamp sets that we have been showcasing this week. Don't forget to comment to qualify for one of the sets.
