Hambo Stamps Design Team Call

Good Afternoon everyone, I hope everyone is having a blessed day. Today I have two cards for you that I created using Hambo Digital Stamps. I created these for an application they have to be on their next design team.  I really enjoyed the images that I had to work with and creating these two cards.

The First Card I used the image ice cream man from Hambo Stamps. 

With this stamp I colored the stamp using colored pencils. I then chose a purple color base for my card and chose some complimentary designer paper. One of the requirements for the DT call is that you had to have your own sentiment. The first thing that came to my mind was a joke that I heard Bill Cosby tell in he stand up act "Bill Cosby - Himself", it made me laugh so hard I thought it would be fitting for this image. Once I mounted everything to the card I added some sage buttons to the card and put Velcro on the opening of the card to keep it closed.

On the second card I made for the design team call I used Hambo Stamps Wee Henry Snorkel. With this card I started out with a green base for my card. I chose a blue complimentary cardstock as well. First I cut a boarder around the blue cardstock with one of my scalloped scissors. Then I colored the this image using the water coloring technique. I used Stampin Up's real red, brilliant blue, bravo burgundy, more mustard and  green galore for the coloring. Once again I tried to come up with a witty saying for my sentiment and thought this image screamed to me where is the pool. I mounted the image to the card with green brads and finished the card off with an embellishment of sun cream and a beach ball.

I really enjoyed creating this cards for Hambo Stamps and think they have a lot of fun and cute stamps and digital images to choose from.
