Friends of SpeedyTV Challenge #1 - Masculine Card

Hello Friends of SpeedyTV,

Happy Birthday to us!

We’re celebrating our Second Anniversary here at MFP! Can you believe this company started with just Faith, Mark, Markie and Speedy the Cat? And, boy…it has GROWN! We’ve got a warehouse full of products and a staff of AWESOME people working with us…

We’ve grown from a small design team to a Senior Design Team with over 25 members, a large Blog Team and a BRAND NEW design team: Friends of SpeedyTV! (We’re calling them FOSTVDT for short!)

Our new design team members are:
Debbie Moran-FOSTVDT Coordinator
Melisa Waldorf
Kittie Caracciolo
Fran Gumprecht
Bonnie Ratzloff
Karen Wallace
Brenda O’Rear
DJ Rants
Toni Storie
Karen Bradley
Janine Brain

I know that some of these names are new to you, and some made you catch your breath because you were thrilled to see their names here! Believe me, they are ALL FABULOUS!

Some of the members will be uploading tutorials. There will be an exclusive SpeedyTV challenge hosted by the new team over on SpeedyTV, too! And, as always, LOTS of inspiration!

Our first challenge is a fun one which you don't see to many of is Make a masculine card. Our challenges will be posted every Monday and will run for the week. These challenges are meant to be a new place to showcase your work for others to see and admire. Our challenges are also meant to be fun so you can make them as simple to as complex as you would like.

For my card I chose to make a CAS card with a masculine feel to it. I am using Mark's Finest Papers Big Boy Toys stamp set. I stamped my image with Bravo Burgundy ink pad and I also brushed the edges of my image and sentiment with the same ink. I mounted my image and sentiment to blue cardstock and then to the base of my card. I added some blue twine around the card along with some black buttons.  Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I hope to see you again and that you enjoyed our first challenge card. Have a blessed day.

Come join us over on SpeedyTV!
