Hello everyone and welcome to Day 11 of the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop. Just one more day to go, I hope you all have been enjoying the wonderful projects these talented ladies and Markie have created for you. Today we are showcasing Decorated Gift Boxes.

At first I wasn't sure about this project, all I could think about was "How am I going to make a box?" So I made a trip to one of my favorite stores Hobby Lobby. I bought several sizes of gift boxes. First I picked out the paper that I wanted to use with this both solid and designer paper. I am using Mark's Finest Papers Christmas in the Country. I colored my image with my Prisma Colored Pencils, and added some sparkle with Martha Stewart's glitter. Once I mounted my paper to the box I used blue satin ribbon on the edges and the lid. I stamped my sentiment with Basic Black ink on the opposite sides of the image. I also added moose images to the box.

The thing that I am most proud of is the bow which I made myself. I got the instructions from Split Coast Stampers Split Coast Stampers. Although the directions called for two toned paper I wanted to use the same designer paper that I used on the box and it worked out just as well. I was incredibly surprised how easy it was to make this paper bow.  I can't wait to use it again on another project. Thanks for stopping and commenting. Don't forget to stop and see all the other wonderful creations and come back tomorrow for our last day of the hop.

Thanks for visiting my blog I hope you enjoyed your stay, hope to see you again. Have a blessed day.

Thanks
Debbie
