Friends of SpeedyTV Challenge Week 7

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to another fun filled week with the Friends of SpeedyTV. This weeks challenge I think is one that everyone will like. The challenge is to make a Birthday card. Now tell me who doesn't have someone in their lives to make a Birthday card for? This is a fun challenge that have endless possibilities. Let's see what the team has come up with for us this week. Today is my mom's birthday and with the recent passing of my dad this will more than likely be the worst birthday ever. I wanted to make her a special card for her birthday so that is why I chose this theme for this week.

For my card I chose a banana color cardstock for the base of my card. I took my white cardstock and dry embossed with the swirls embossing folder. I stamped my sentiment with Cameo Coral ink onto white cardstock and then mounted both sentiments to Coral cardstock. I added Coral ribbon to the white cardstock and then mounted the white to the base of my card. I added my sentiments and then finished off the card with Coral pearls. Since I wanted this to be a special card for my mom I did not do anything to the inside of the card. I hope that you enjoyed my card.
