Happy Saturday,
Hope everyone is doing well, my entire family is sick and crabby, including me. Welcome to another fun filled week of challenges with Speedy Fox and Friends. WOW what a turn out last week, 140 submissions that is awesome. This weeks challenge is to use a spray on your card. I can not begin to tell you how hard this was for me. First of all I have no spray to think of, but after requests for help I got some great ideas for some homemade sprays. This week with the generosity of one of my fellow design team members I was able to make my card with some of her sprays.
For my card this week I am using a dark brown cardstock for the base of my card. I chose to use white and teal for my accent pieces. I took my white cardstock and sprayed with See glass mist spray, walnut gold mist spray and citrus smooch spritz. Once it was dry I curled two of the corners a technique from Technique Junkies and added a teal and gold ribbon. I mounted the white cardstock to the teal cardstock and then to the base of my card. I then stamped my image onto white cardstock and colored it with my Copic Markers and cut the image out and mounted to my base with pop dots. I finished off the card with a sentiment and a frame.
The inside of my card is very basic with white and teal cardstock layered and a simple sentiment. I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping and commenting, I hope to see you again and maybe as a follower. don't forget to give some love to the other design team members and join in on the fun. For more fun with Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. stop by SpeedyTV for more challenges with the Friends of SpeedyTV.
Thanks

Great colors. Love that stitched ribbon.
What a very soft bg you have achieved Debbie!! It's very pretty. I have not used this technique either and don't really have any sprays, so used bleach applied by spraying it from a tooth brush.
What a fun card. Love how you did the corners.
