FOSTV Challenge 12 - 2012 Use a Border Punch

Good Morning Fellow Stampers,

Welcome to a new and exciting week of challenges with Friends of SpeedyTV. Last week was our first week of challenges where we offered a free stamp set to one lucky winner. Last week we had five participants so the odds of winning are pretty good. This week we are challenging you to make a card using a border punch. One lucky winner will win the following stamp set for playing along with us.

Sending Happy Thoughts

For my card I am sneak peaking another one of Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp sets for March. It is called Lighthouses. I really love this set, you can do so many things with it. I chose to use real red card stock for the base of my card and cobalt blue and white for my layers. I border punched my blue and mounted to the red card stock. I then mounted my image that I colored with my Copic Markers. I then mounted white card stock and put red buttons. I finished off the front of my card with an image on a banner. 

On the inside of my card I mounted white card stock and then stamped my image and sentiment with black ink. I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping and commenting.
