Shades of Blue

Me again with another card for you. I have been a busy little beaver today. My second card for the day is for the CAS challenge on SCS. The challenge is to make a card with white cardstock and shades of blue. I used white cardstock and embossed it with my circles embossing folder, Then I added my bubble designer paper and my blue ribbon. I am using DRS Designs bathtub and soap stamps. I colored them with my Prismacolor Pencils and mounted them with pop dots. I finished off my card with a sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co "winter Crocus" stamp set. I became a Christian in October of 1999. I met this nice guy when I was managing Domino's pizza, we spent countless hours after work talking after we closed the store. I was abused and raped as a child and young adult. I was very insecure with myself . I was very unhappy, lost and depressed. After meeting Liam (who is now my wonderful Godly husband) I saw something different about him. I didn't know what it was but I knew I wanted what he had. One night after closing the store we drove to Wal-Mart to wind down from a night at work. When we got to Wal-Mart we were sitting in the parking lot and he asked me if I wanted to make Jesus my Lord and Savior. I said yes and right there in the Wal-Mart parking lot I prayed to Jesus to forgive me of my sins. I tell everyone that you can get anything at Wal-Mart! I still have struggles, the only difference is I have God to turn to for comfort and direction.
