Friends of SpeedyTV Challenge 20 - Paper Piercing

Happy Monday,

I hope everyone had a great Mothers Day. Mine was pretty relaxing for the most part. My dear husband did the dishes, mopped the kitchen floor, made dinner and let me rest all day. My precious 3 girls made me tons of Mothers Day cards and all came in bed with me this morning and cuddled and wished me a Happy Mother's Day.  All in all a pretty good Mothers Day for me.

Welcome to another exciting week of challenges with the Friends of SpeedyTV. This week we want to challenge you to make a card using paper piercing. This is a fun and easy technique that everyone can use. We are giving away to one lucky winner this great stamp set from earlier this year:

"Flaps My Wattles"

Since this is the stamp set we are giving away this week I thought I would use it to make my card.  I stamped my image onto white card stock with Basic Black ink and then colored it with my Copic Markers. I then mounted my image onto yellow and olive card stock and them onto my DP. Before I mounted this to the base of my card which is Royal Blue I added my yellow ribbon. I also put a small sentiment on the inside of my card. I hope you enjoyed my card today. Thanks for stopping and commenting, I hope to see you again soon. Be sure to stop by the Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co blog starting this Tuesday for our monthly blog hop and get a chance to win one of the new releases.

Now it is your turn to show us your paper piercing. You can use any stamp set that you would like, but if you use a Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp set your name will be entered twice. Can't wait to see all the fabulous creations.

You have until 11:59 pm on Sunday May 20th to submit your cards. Good Luck everyone. Have a Blessed Day!

Deb, love your card. That sentiment is great and I have one made with it and have the perfect person to send it to...she'll take it with a big smile.
Sounds like hubby and the girls made a special day for you. Why can't every day be Mother's Day? LOL
