Happy Saturday Speedy Fox and Friends,
First of all I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. I know it is a day early but I wanted to make sure that I wished happy day to those moms out there who work so hard and don't get enough credit. This week with Speedy Fox and Friends we are challenging you to make a card using chalk. Chalk is a fun tool to use, there are so many ways to use it your possibilities are endless.
Since I have been having such a creative block lately I went to my dear friend Chris Dickinson's house for a play date (one we have not had in a while). She is the sweetest, most caring, encouraging, inspirational, helpful, and loving person I have ever had the privilege to be friends with. She has helped me in so many ways over the last year and a half in more than just stamping. I love her dearly and just wanted to thank her for all she does for me.
For my card this week I am using Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co "North American Woods" stamp set. I stamped my image with VersaMark and then used my sponge dauber to color the image with chalk. I used So Saffron, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, White and DP for my paper. I finished off my card with bronze brads. I hope you liked my card. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I hope to see you again soon.
You have until 3PM on Friday May 18, 2012 topost
your card. Remember if you use MFP a Heinrich Company stamps your name
will be entered into the drawing twice. Have fun and good luck.
Don't forget to stop by Tuesday through Friday this week for the monthly blog hop on Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. Have a blessed day.
Thanks
