Our February New Release Mini:
Spring Joy

Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day. My wonderful husband surprised me with a beautiful card and a dozen red roses. Hope you are enjoying the hop so far, Welcome to day two of our February Hop. Today we are showcasing our second release for the month called, "North American Woods." This is a great set and is so versatile and perfect for the masculine cards.

For my card today I chose to use More Mustard for the base of my card. I am also trying a new technique called Varnished Mahogany from Technique Junkies Stampin Companion CD. This is a great CD and can be bought from the Technique Junkies blog. Well back to my card, this technique called for the use of crystal effects but my three little girls have taken mine and they are no where to be found so I was not able to do that part of the technique. Anyway it still looks cool. I stamped my image and sentiment onto white cardstock with Bravo Burgundy ink, then mounted it to my more mustard cardstock. I then mounted them to the base of my card. I finished off the outside of my card with button brads.

On the inside of my card I am being a little lazy and only mounted white cardstock and stamped my sentiment. I feel now that I have to put something on the inside or my card is not complete. I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping and commenting. I hope to see you again soon and would love to see you as a follower. Don't forget to comment on all the design teams blogs in order to qualify for one of these Awesome sets. Stay tuned for tomorrow when we will showcase another Fabulous sets. Have a blessed day.

Thanks

Love the bear and how you have used it - had to decide between it and dogwood - so chose dogwood but I might have to make another order - great for the non-sporty guy cards!
