Our February New Release Mini:
Spring Joy

Hello and Welcome the last day of our February Hop. We hope you enjoyed all the wonderful projects the design team had for you this week. Today we are showcasing our 4th and final stamp set for the month called "Dogwood Blossoms".

I can't believe another blog hop is coming to close. We had some great work this week and some AWESOME stamp sets to show you. We hope that you all enjoyed what we prepared for you. Today we are showcasing "Dogwood Blossoms", one of my favorite sets.

Again I am trying a new technique on my card today called Pastels on Black which you can find on Split Coast Stampers. I stamped my image onto black cardstock and then embossed using white embossing powder. I then took my water color pencils and colored in the image. Once thing I did not do with this is use my aqua painters to blend my color, I used my finger tip to just blend. I added some black and white gingham ribbon and a simple sentiment to the outside of the card and then mounted my black cardstock to Pink Passion cardstock and finally to white. I did not complete the inside of my card on this one. I hope you enjoyed my card and the hop this week. Thanks for stopping and commenting, I hope to see you again soon. Don't forget to stop by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co blog tomorrow for the announcement of the winners of these great sets. Have a blessed day, see you next month.

Thanks
