Hello and Welcome to day 1 of the March blog hop for Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. Today's stamp set that we are featuring is called "Lighthouses"

I created my card using a new technique that I just tried from Technique Junkies  called Faux Mosaic. This is the first time I tried it so it is a work in progress. I used black card stock for the base of my card and layered with real red and scrap pieces of DP. I stamped my image and then colored it with watercolor crayons and then cut it out of my oval die cut and mounted it to my card. I finished off my card with some black gingham ribbon.

On the inside of my card I mounted white card stock and stamped a simple sentiment. I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping and commenting. I hope to see you again soon. Make sure to stop by and check out all the other talented ladies on the hop. The more you comment the better chance you have of winning one of these great stamp sets. Also make sure to stop by SpeedyTV and play along with Friends of SpeedyTV for a chance to win another great stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.

Thanks
