Mark's Finest Papers

Here is a look at May's Gorgeous Stamp Sets.

Today's Featured Stamp Set is
"Get Reel"

I love this silhouette stamp set so much. Since I lost my dad in October I have been really struggling with missing him. Every time I see sentiments and pictures like this it makes it even harder. I struggled so much with my card today for this stamp set. Even though I love it and it is terrific I just couldn't get my card the way I want it. Do you ever have that time where you have so many ideas in your head and you know what you want to do but it just doesn't come out that way? That is what happened with this card. I am really disappointed in how it turned out, but was running out of time so I had to post it. Sorry it is not a fancy fold or a cool technique, I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I hope to see you again soon. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the third of our releases for the month. Looking for extra ways to win a free stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co, check out the Friends of SpeedyTV weekly challenge over at SpeedyTV.  Have a blessed day!

Thanks

I'm sorry about the loss of your dad, and I know how difficult that must have been for you. Your card, however, is lovely! I like the shape of the framing you created with that diecut.

Deb, I think this is a very cool card with vibrant colors. Sometimes, we just can't get things to work as we want. You know, we are are own worst critics. You did a very good job.
