Hello Friends and Happy Friday,

We have some new and exciting news for you today. Happy Friday! Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co has some new and exciting news. We have created a new challenge design team that will be featured on SpeedyTV. With this team they will focus solely on tutorials. We have ten very talented members that one member will create a tutorial each week and then all you have to do to play along is create a card using that tutorial. As it is with all our design teams when you enter a card to the challenge you will be entered to win a free stamp set and if you use a Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp set your name will be entered twice. Just think of all the cool techniques you could learn. If you join us for our monthly blog hops you might have said to yourself how did they do that card, well here is your chance to learn how. We hope to have lots of fun with this design team and teaching everyone fun, creative, easy to follow, and informative techniques. Our challenges will be every Friday and you can submit as many cards as you would like to the challenges. You do have to be a member of SpeedyTV to play along. But don't fret joining SpeedyTV is FREE!!!!! Not only do you get to play along with the challenges on SpeedyTV, you can join the swaps, learn new techniques, stamping tips and tricks, and so much more.

Our First challenge is to make a card using Tammylee's tutorial "Coloring on Distress ink with Alcohol Markers". You do have to be a member of SpeedyTV to participate but don't fret it is FREE to join SpeedyTV.

For my card I chose to use the stamp set that one lucky winner will win from this challenge:

"Spring Flowers"

I used Tim Holtz purple distress ink (sorry the actual color escapes me right now) I finished off my card with some purple glitter gems, some brads and a frame.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Thank you for stopping by and commenting, I hope to see you again soon.

Now it is your turn to show us what you can create with this great tutorial. You have until 06/07/12 at 11:59 pm. Remember if you use a Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp set your submission will be entered twice.
Wow think of all the possibilities you now have to win a free stamp set, You have Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge, Friends of SpeedyTVchallenge, the monthly blog hop and now Tutorial Time On SpeedyTV Challenges. Make sure to tell your friends. Have a Blessed Day!!!!

Thanks

Gorgeous Pansies on the distressed BG! Love how the pansies take on more depth when colored over the distress ink!

Oh, Debbie, beautifully colored image and, wow, your techniqued BG is awesome and really highlights the pretty flowers. Your lovely ribbon is a perfect touch, as well as the sparklies and little framed sentiment! Lovely and elegant card!

Like the Pansies. Tried the technique. Tried a couple Tim Holtz colors for background (Wild Honey & Broken China) each on different paper not together. Used Tiger stamp from Big Cats and my coloring with Prisma Color markers that my daughter gave me made the Tiger look too dark/scary. I know Tigers are wild but they are bee-utiful looking unlike my colored image. I'm thinking I may need an image with less detail or lighter color coloring. I have Oopsy Daisy and am going to give it a try.

Very pretty card, Debbie. You picked one of my favorite colors -- purple! Pansies always make me think of my grandmother and I smile. She had them all over in her garden.
