CC329 - You're Sweet

Hello Everyone,

I am playing catch up today and have two posts for you. I have had two really sick kids all week and have done nothing but clean up poop and puke. I know disgusting. My middle girl Miranda has had the worst of it. She has not eaten all week and I have had to force her to drink so that she doesn't get dehydrated. My baby Moira didn't get it as bad she only had the poopies. where Miranda was throwing up and pooping. They both had fevers too. You know how kids are when they are sick they want their mommies. I am so exhausted with no sleep in 4 days. I did however get enough energy today to do two cards. Here is the first one.

This card is for Heart Song Designs which I am a design team member. It is one of their new images located in their store http://heartsongdesignsshop.com along with a couple of other new images you can see below. All these stamps are available now in the store.

My Card is using the Tuti Fruiti image. I also used this card for a SCS color challenge. The challenge was to use Soft Suede, Crumb cake and Melon Mambo. I didn't have any color close to the Melon Mambo so I improvised with a Honeydew melon color. I colored the image with my Copic markers (G02, G09, G29, G28, Y15, 100, R43, R27, R14, R46, YR68, YR12, YR61) After I colored the image I took a Just Glitter pen and added some depth to the pineapple. I used a sentiment stamp from SU- Mini Mates Stamp set. I brushed the edges of that image with Su - Really rust ink pad and mounted it on to the card. I added some flowers and gems and then put some dots on the card with my Opague marker brown.
