Happy New Year and Welcome to Mark's Finest Paper's, a Heinrich Co. January Blog Hop. We have some great stamp sets in store for you this month. Today we are showcasing Love Remains

I love flowers and this set is gorgeous. It is very versatile and elegant and perfect for any occasion.

For my card today I am using a technique called 5X7 Step Ladder card. I got this technique from the new Technique Junkies 3D and Folds CD. I stamped my image onto white cardstock and colored it with my watercolor colored pencils. I also stamped my sentiments onto white cardstock with Basic Black ink. I mounted my white cardstock onto Valentine's Day designer paper and then onto black cardstock and then to the base of my card which I chose to use red cardstock. For my accent pieces I mounted the same designer paper onto black cardstock and then to the base of my card. I finished off the card with heart gems, silk flower buds and decorative buttons.
