CC327 - Vanilla Chocolate Olives (With Sympathy)

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all are having a great day. Today was a not so fun day for me. I took my neighbor to the VA Hospital in Milwaukee with 4 kids thinking it would not be too long of an appointment. Well not too long turned into 2 hours with the kids going crazy in the car. What I thought to be a short appointment turned into almost 2 hours not to mention the 2 hour round trip car drive. I was happy to get home and relax by stamping.

My card for today my card is for the weekly SCS color challenge. For my card I used Stampin Up's Close as a Memory stamp set. For the challenge we were to use Chocolate, Vanilla and Olives, so I chose cardstock as close to those colors that I had. My base is Chocolate and I layered a cream colored cardstock on the chocolate. Before I mounted the cream to the chocolate I added my sheer cream colored ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and a silver buckle to the cream colored paper and then added it to the chocolate base. Then I took my Olive (sage) colored cardstock and I punched the corners with Martha Stewart's scalloped corner punch. I then took a cream colored die cut and I brushed the edges of the cut with Stampin Up's Mellow Moss ink pad. I took the flower stamp from the set and I brushed the image with Rubber Stampede Brush markers and then I placed the stamp on my die cut. Once I was done with that I mounted the die cut onto the sage and both the base of the card. Once everything was in place I took my sentiment and stamped it over the ribbon with my Stampin Up Mellow Moss ink pad. Below are the details to the challenge.

I hope you all enjoyed my card and thanks for visiting. Have a blessed day!!!!
