Peacock - HSD #4

Good Evening everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed this beautiful. warm, blessed Sunday.  Today was a great day with my wonderful family. We spent the day at the Milwaukee County  Zoo. The weather was perfect, the animals were majestic and we had a blast. We bought a season pass last year and it is about to expire so we are trying to utilize it as much as we can before it expires. The kids had fun feeding the goats in the petting zoo although Moira our baby was not too happy to have them come anywhere near her. We walked 5.5 miles today and didn't even see the entire zoo.

Today's card is for I tried to incorporate the beautiful Peacocks that we saw at the zoo with Heart Song Designs newest image which is a peacock. Here is a couple of pictures I took of Peacocks at the Zoo today.

I tried to duplicate the color of this magnificent creature the best I could. I colored the Heart Song Designs - Peacock image with my Stampin Up chalks. I then cut the image out and mounted it to a tan colored cardstock after I cut the edges out with one of my scalloped scissors. Then I mounted the tan cardstock to my royal blue cardstock base. Once this was complete I pierced the paper in between the scallops as part of the challenge for new challenge on Heart Song Designs http://heartsonginspirations.blogspot.com. Make sure to stop by for the challenge and possible get to use this great image.

After I finished the paper piercing I added some beautiful flowers and gems and added a sentiment from Stampin Up's - Small Script stamp set using their Basic Black ink pad. Here is the completed card.

I hope you enjoyed the card and the beautiful pictures of one of God's majestic creatures. Thanks for visiting, Have a blessed Day!
