WT326 - Piercing

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Today my card is for the Split Coast Stampers Ways to Use it challenge. The challenge was to incorporate piercing on your project.

Today my card has an American Theme to it since I wasn't able to do a Memorial Day card. I am using Mark's Finest Papers - American Made stamp set. First I stamped my images on white cardstock with Red Versacolor ink and then embossed it with red glitter. I mounted the images onto red cardstock and then pierced around the edges of the red. I mounted a star designer paper onto my base slate blue then I mounted both images onto a slate blue cardstock. Then I punched out several sizes of stars from my Creative Memories star punches. I layered the different size stars with pop dots to give them dimension, then I mounted it to my card. I finished off my card with a gold ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon on the fold of my card. Below are the details of the challenge.

WT326 - Piercing

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for the welcome last week! I'm so excited to be a part of the Ways to Use It Challenge!

My challenge to you is Piercing! Who would've thought that poking holes in your paper could add so much to the overall look. You can use a piercing tool, the Sew Easy, Scor-bug, even a sewing machine without the thread to pierce your project! I can't wait to see what you create!
