Friends of SpeedyTV # 24 - Father's Day Card

Happy Monday,

Welcome to a new week of challenges with Friends of SpeedyTV. We hope you enjoyed last weeks challenge. This week with Father's Day just around the corner we thought what a better time than now to make a Father's Day Card. This week we are giving this great stamp set from last month to one lucky winner.

For my card this week I wanted to do something new. I created this card from an idea I saw on someone's blog. I also created a tutorial for it if you would like to create the same kind of card. You can find my tutorial here.

Shirt Card Tutorial

Supplies:

1 – 8 ½ x 11 piece of card stock (base)

Card stock for image and sentiment (inside)

Scoring Tool

Ink

Stamps

Embellishments

Bone Folder

Adhesive (not pictured)

Step One:

Take your 8 ½ x 11 piece of card stock and place it on your scoring tool vertically. Score at 4 ½, 2 1/8 and 6 3/8.

Step Two:

 Fold on Center score lines and crease the fold with bone folder.

Step Three:

Fold on other two score lines folding them in towards the center.

Step Four:

At the top of your paper fold down the corners and crease with your bone folder.

Step Five:

Flip card over, and be sure to have your corner folds facing down toward you.

Step Six:

Score 1 inch at the top of your card and fold over and crease score line.

Step Seven:

Turn card back over with folded corners still facing you. Fold the corners at the top toward the center be sure to crease you edges with bone folder.

Step Eight:

Take the bottom of your card and fold up and under your collar flaps

Step Nine:

Put sentiment inside card.

Step Ten:

Finish card to your liking
