Speedy Fox Featured Designer

Good Morning,

This week I am being showcased as the Featured Designer for Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.
The Featured Designer introduces our Senior Design team to our readers and they create a tutorial showing you either a new technique or a special type of card. This week I created a tutorial on Star of David. This is a great card to make and even though it looks hard it is pretty easy.

Star of David Card

Supplies:
12x12 piece of card stock
Paper trimmer
Scoring Tool
Ruler
Pencil
Ink
Stamps
Adhesive
Bone folder
Designer paper
Cardstock for layering
Embellishments (not pictured)

Step One:
Take your 12x12 piece of cardstock and cut to 10x8 ¾

Step Two:
Place your card stock vertically on your scoring tool and mark with your pencil at the 5” mark.

Step Three:
Take your ruler and pencil and draw lines one each side from the 5” mark to the corners.

Step Four:
Cute your card stock on both lines you just drew.

Step Five:
Put your card stock on your scoring tool with one edge against the side and your point in the middle.

Step Six:
Score all three corners at 4 3/8 and 5 7/8. You will have to flip your card stock to do each side.

Step Seven:
Valley fold the score lines closest to the center of your card and mountain fold the outer score lines.

Step Eight:
Fold the top flap down, then the left flap and finally the right flap

Step Nine:
Take your extra card stock and cut 3 squares 2 ¾ x 2 ¾.  You may have to adjust the measurements.

Step Ten:
Place on scoring tool and follow the same steps as two and three. You will have to verify your measurements.

Step Eleven:
Mount your triangles to the outer flaps.

Step Twelve:
Do the same steps with your designer paper, verifying the measurements and mount onto the solid cardstock

Step Thirteen:
Cut Triangles for the center of your card using steps two and three, verify your measurements.

Step Fourteen:
Finish card to your liking.

Hope you enjoyed my tutorial and my card. Thanks for stopping and commenting. I hope to see you again.

Thanks
