Happy Friday,
Welcome to another episode with Tutorial Time on SpeedyTV. What a great week we had last week. Great tutorial Lois. This week our tutorial is simple and easy and anyone can participate. We are doing a Heat Embossing card. I know you are probably saying "Seriously everyone knows how to do that!" Well the office at Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co has had several calls from beginner stampers wanting to know how to do it, so here we go. Here is the tutorial I created for you as a base to go by. Those of you who have been stamping for ages I know you know what to do.
Embossing Tutorial
Supplies:
Paper Trimmer (not pictured)
Stamps
Card stock (White and Color)
Heat Gun
Embossing Powder
Ink
Embellishments (not pictured)
VersaMark
Embossing Buddy (optional)
Embossing Tray
Step One:
Take your white card stock and brush
it with your embossing buddy (optional) to prevent static. If you don’t have an
embossing buddy there are many other options. You can use a dryer sheet, an
artist’s resin bag, I personally used my bowling resin bag.
Step Two:
Ink your image with VersaMark ink,
and stamp onto your card stock.
Step Three:
Place your
white card stock with your image on it into your embossing tray and add your
embossing powder. Remove the excess
powder. (don’t forget to put the excess back into the jar)
Step Four:
Take your
heat gun and heat set your image. (let cool before handling)
Step Five:
Cut base of
card stock to the size you wish.
Step Six:
Finish card
to your liking.
Be sure to swing on over to SpeedyTV to join the challenge and a chance to win this great stamp set.

The blue with these stamps is a good combination. Like heat embossing.

Beautiful card and wonderful tutorial! My pre-post for this didn't post - had to go in and manually force the post, but it's up now and I linked back to the challenge!
