Today's Featured Stamp Set today is
"Island Life"
Welcome to day three of our June blog hop. We have another Fantastic stamp set to show you today. This stamp set is called "Island Life". The versatility of this stamp set is amazing.
For my first card today I created something a little different. I used an every day legal envelope for the base of my card instead of card stock.
Here is the back

For my second card I made a little more CAS and with a patriotic theme, since yesterday was the first day of summer.

Both lovely cards - that first one took some working out.
Beautiful work on the colors :)
gifts for europe
Very nice cards! Love the invitation
Nice cards, Debbie. That first one was very clever.
Good job with the legal envie and it came out so cool with the torn edges. The second card is such a pretty scene and like that sun in the corner....really says hot summer, which I love.
love the envy...what a great idea...what size did you make the card to go into the envy?
love the different looking scenes you can make with this new set-2 nice cards
Cool Breeze is such a great sentiment. What a great set of images to use on cards!
Fabulous cards, Debbie; wonderful coloring,
Amazing first card, lovely second! Well done!
Like the nautical feel of these cards. I'm now following your blog. I like all things Lighthouse. Just entered the Summer challenge again since I so want to win the Lighthouse stamp set being offered to challenge winner. Have visited several Lighthouses. One time when visiting the Lighthouse on TyBee Island off the coast of Savannah, GA the power went out while we were walking up the steps of the lighthouse. They did not charge us admission since they had no power to run our credit card thru and considered the no power a free day. had jury duty summons yesterday. Was not selected so will be another 3 yrs before I'm summoned again. When I got home I finsihed up a couple Patriotic cards. Thanks for your response on stamps for Jul. I ordered the Christmas Cardinal stamp set this morn. Am making Christmas cards for the swap and when the Christmas Cardinal stamp set arrives I'll decide which to use for swap.

Debbie,
What a very cool envelope card! You always have the most wonderful ides - and it's so very pretty.
Your second card is lovely as well. I think we need a couple of lawn chairs to enjoy the scene!

Wow Debbie--the first card is amazing! And your second card is very pretty! Your sewing cards from yesterday are really cute also! I especially like the one that says "sew many stamps...."! Sorry that I didn't get to comment yesterday, but my BFF's dog is very sick and she was really upset last night. TFS
