Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Tuesday! Today starts the madness of my week. We have open house for my girls at school. I have mixed feelings about them going to school for the first time. I am going to miss them terribly but on another note my baby will be so spoiled. (not that she isn't already).
Have you ever heard the song Down on Grandpa's farm by Barney? I know I said a bad word but that song popped into my head the second I saw this stamp set on Mark's Finest Papers blog hop in August. I totally love this stamp set it is so cute and so versatile. I stamped my image and sentiment with Stampin Up's More Mustard ink pad and then just highlighted the image with a black marker. I chose Stampin Up's Really Rust and More Mustard for my cardstock and then I found this really cute Barnyard designer paper from Doodlebug Design and last but not least I also used a cream colored cardstock. The base of my card is Really Rust and then I mounted the designer paper to that and mounted my image onto a cream colored die cut and and mounted both of the image and sentiment to my More Mustard cardstock. Once this was done I mounted the image to the base of my card and then mounted the sentiment to the card with pop dots. I finished off the card with some yellow twine from Mark's Finest Papers and some cream colored buttons.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting. I hope you enjoyed my card. Have a blessed day.
Thanks
Debbie

Love this barn stamp! It's wonderful with the marker outlines you did. What's that die cut? Must know! Great dp and sentiment.
Your card is gorgeous, and I love that die cut (is it a Spellbinders die?) you used.
But...did you say BARNEY? As in the big purple obnoxious dinosaur? Please tell me you didn't mean HIM. LOL!
This is a lovely card x
I am not familiar with this story, but I guess it's because my kids are all grown up now Lol
