DRS Sports Challenge

I created this card for the DRS Designs Sports challenge. I used DRS Designs "Golf" stamp and colored it with my Copic Markers. I stitched my white card stock with white and green ribbon. Then I mounted the image onto tan card stock and then to the garden green card stock I chose for the base of my card.

I became a Christian in October of 1999. I met this nice guy when I was managing Domino's pizza, we spent countless hours after work talking after we closed the store. I was abused and raped as a child and young adult. I was very insecure with myself . I was very unhappy, lost and depressed. After meeting Liam (who is now my wonderful Godly husband) I saw something different about him. I didn't know what it was but I knew I wanted what he had. One night after closing the store we drove to Wal-Mart to wind down from a night at work. When we got to Wal-Mart we were sitting in the parking lot and he asked me if I wanted to make Jesus my Lord and Savior. I said yes and right there in the Wal-Mart parking lot I prayed to Jesus to forgive me of my sins. I tell everyone that you can get anything at Wal-Mart! I still have struggles, the only difference is I have God to turn to for comfort and direction.
