Good Morning and Happy Saturday,
Welcome to another week of challenges with Speedy Fox and Friends. This weeks challenge is to make a card using a Rainbow theme. The possibilities are endless. You have until 3PM on Friday April 20, 2012 to post your card. Remember if you use MFP a Heinrich Company stamps your name will be entered into the drawing twice.
For my card I used Simple Swipes technique from the February/March 2012 Technique Junkies Newsletter . This is a fun and easy technique. I used the "Hello Butterflies" stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. First I did my technique on my white card stock and then I stamped my sentiment over it when it was dry. Then I stamped my butterflies and colored them with watercolor crayons and them cut them out and mounted them with pop dots. Once my white was done I layered onto Wisteria Wonder and then the base of my card which was Certainly Celery.
I hope you liked my card. Thanks for stopping and commenting. I hope to see you again soon. For more fun with Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. and more chances to win a free stamp set check out the challenges with Friends of SpeedyTV every Monday. Be sure to stop by and hop with us this week to see the great new stamp sets being released this week. Have a blessed day.
Thanks

Another lovely card, Debbie. I have tried a form of the swiping technique - and it always looks as if I've put my pad in the hands of a toddler - seriously! Your butterflies are lovely and elegant, as is your card!
A great technique. A very pretty card.
Great job of swiping...rainbow effect is great! Like those butterflies too!!! Nice looking card!
Very pretty Debbie. Love the rainbow background. The butterflies are lovely. :o)
Stunning Card, Debbie! So interesting to see your water color butterflies because not 15 min. ago, I was on the way home thinking about whether or not I should add watercolor pencils to my crafting supplies! I haven't been able to afford copics yet so I use Prismacolor pencils and OMS but I JUST LOVE your butterflies with watercolor crayons. I think you answered the debate I was having with myself!!! :-)
Gorgeous card!!!
Beautiful Debbie!! I love the soft colored rainbow with the popped up butterflies..
