Mark's Finest Papers

Welcome to day on of our April Blog hop. Today we are showcasing the first of our April Release stamp sets called "Fabulous Dogs". Can I tell you what a fun set this is. I could not make up my mind what kind of card I was going to make with this stamp set since there are so many choices.

For My card today I am using Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Very Vanilla and designer paper. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used a dog ribbon and dog brads.

With this set we are also offering this great mini. Let me tell you I fell in love with this little gem. The dog in this set reminds me so much of my dad, who I lost in October. He always had this sour look on his face. If you knew my dad he was a master of jokes (some funny, some not funny), but he never smiled he always kept you guessing.

I could not resist making a card with this stamp set as well. For this card I colored my image using watercolor crayons. I chose Night of Navy, Very Vanilla and Garden green card stocks. I finished off my card with some great dog buttons and ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I hope you enjoyed the cards I had for you today. I hope to see you again soon. Be sure to visit all the designers blogs, the more you comment the better your chances are of winning one of these great stamp sets. For more fun with Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co and more chances to win a free stamp set, check out the challenges with Friends of SpeedyTV.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for another AWESOME stamp set. Have a blessed day.

Thanks

Debbie,
Both cards are wonderful - and your coloring of the puppies is perfect. Your embellies are so very cute too! I especially like your second card - just because it brought you a memory of your Dad. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your Dad in October.

What fab cards! I love the ribbon and brads, they just bring such wonderful dimension to your cards.
You Dad sounds like mine was, never knew what he was thinking from the look on his face. They should have been poker players.

I loved both of your cards. The sentiment from the second set really makes a good card for a man when you want to keep it funny, not sentimental.
